Declaration and Binding of Internal
Variable Types for the Use of EL High-Function Modules (Global Data Type, Type
System, External Types)
1.
Internal Variables Used in
EL High-Function Modules: After version 4024 of TC3, for analog and gateway modules
(not supported for standard I/O), a convenient feature has been introduced in
the declaration and usage process:
Finally, return to the PLC options of
the module to complete the link:
2.
Adding Custom Structures
to System Types: The internal variables generated
from this can be used during declaration. To share the custom structure type of
the program with other communication usages, such as EAP, you can directly
right-click on the variable name and select "Share":
(When using the
internal variable type declaration section in Step 1, please note not to add
"AT%", as the internal variable type has already been added in the
"external types" section.)
After successful
mapping, activate the device to enable the use of attributes and values under
the module in programming.
3.
Deletion Method: If "external types" are no
longer in use, they need to be deleted from the "type system". Before
deletion, it must be confirmed that all declarations and calls within the
configuration and logic have been removed.
Similarly,
modifications can also be made using the "edit" function as shown
in the above figure.
