In practical projects, there might be a need to use certain tools, but not all of them are displayed in the main interface of TwinCAT 3 software. For instance, if you want to display the Watch tool from the Windows option within the PLC dropdown menu in the main interface, here's how you can do it:
Solution:
- Right-click on an empty space on the TwinCAT 3 toolbar and select "Customize" from the bottom of the options.
- In the pop-up window, click on the "Commands" tab, select the "Toolbar" option, click on "Application Insights" on the right side, and from the dropdown menu that appears, choose "TwinCAT PLC".
- Click "Add Command". On the left side of the pop-up window, locate and select "PLC". Then, select "PLC Watch 1" on the right side and click "OK".
Finally, the tool will be added to the toolbar on the main interface of TwinCAT 3.
