How to use IndraWorks Ds do S4_Serial_Comissioning ｜ Rexroth_IndraWorks｜ Load parameters ｜Backup the Parameter

 A Serial commissioning can only be done at axes that are identical. Please check if the wiring and the mechanical structure (gear ratio, steering racks, possibly length of the axis, and so one) are identical. 

1 Enabling SafeMotion Functionality 

Right mouse click on SafeMotion in the menu tree on the left, select and click on Functional Enabling 

Tick the box “Enable SafeMotion for functional Commissioning of the axis” and click Enable 










2 Load parameters

Click on “serial commissioning”. Enable the checkbox “The drive with SMO axis identifier is now to be parameterized”. Cklick ok. 


Select “Copy of an axis (1:1 Copy)”


Select the correct parameter file. 

Select “Load all parameters”. 

Important: The drive must be in “PREOP” state to load the parameters correct!


If it’s the first time the drive is parameterized, just click ok. 

If already parameters were loaded confirm the active SMO axis identifier and load defaults procedure for SMO. Click “next”. 



Click “Identify SafeMotion” and follow the instructions on the window. If all conditions are fulfilled, click “Apply Axis identifier”. 



If not all drives in the same safety zone are loaded with the correct parameters 

the error F7035 appears. Load all drives in the safety-zone to be able to 

confirm the error. 












3 Backup the Parameter 

Because the password has changed, the parameters need to be recreated.

4 Generate and save the SafeMotionReport 

After finishing the commissioning of SafeMotion the SafeMotionReport must be generated. 

Create the safe motion report click on SafeMotionReport in the Menu-tree 





















Type in your name on the bottom left (Commissioning engineer), save the report to designated folder on the server.

ave the SafeMotionReport on the IPC to the drive-parameter-files. 

Click “Finish”.
